Hello and welcome to The Bright Bride, a place for the bright and sparkly side of weddings.
I have an obsession with colour and I turn into a human magpie as soon as I see a hint of glitter! This blog is all about wedding inspiration with a splash of colour and/or a pinch of glitter as well as great design. I want to show how bright colours can be used without looking like a 5-year-olds birthday party (unless that’s your theme!) and how glitter and sparkle can be stunning rather than reminiscent of My Big Fat Gypsy Wedding or a WAG with lots of money and no taste.
I also like making things and have been doing it all my life. I was always the first suspect when the scissors disappeared (I still am when I visit my parents!) and my sister says that my creations actually looked like ‘the one we made earlier’ on Blue Peter. So you can expect lots of DIY ideas on this blog too!
